back on the road

It's been nearly one year away from Lesotho. I can hardly imagine we are going back out again.

It took us almost 5 months to get things ready, and a lot is still not done, but tomorrow we will be setting out once again to the "Mountain Kingdom", this time I am going on behalf of RRA (Reiulf Ramstad Arkitekter) and Article 25 (previously known as A4A), to start work on an exciting new build project for K4L (kick for Life).

This blog is aimed at keeping friends and family informed about this new trip, but also it is to serve as a tool to keep our team back in Oslo up to date with the progress of the trip and the project.

If you are new to this blog or are just keen in re-reading what happened (the story of builfing the LCCU) during my previous stay in Lesotho please visit my old blog: www.pck4a4a.blogspot.com

Work in progress...

Nice look

I am not the type to dress up, but today we did spend most of the day in a jacket!

I can’t really say I don’t like because although I hate the idea of dressing a jacket once I have one on I do enjoy it. Plus I do recognize the need to look smart everyone once in a while.

Anyway, that was our day today, walking around looking smart, meeting important people and trying to rally support for the project. It went well.

At the end of the day we also did a few visits, and we saw two really distinct building types, one really nice one and one not quite the same. But all of it is important and it does give us the feel for the spectrum in which we will be operating!
