back on the road

It's been nearly one year away from Lesotho. I can hardly imagine we are going back out again.

It took us almost 5 months to get things ready, and a lot is still not done, but tomorrow we will be setting out once again to the "Mountain Kingdom", this time I am going on behalf of RRA (Reiulf Ramstad Arkitekter) and Article 25 (previously known as A4A), to start work on an exciting new build project for K4L (kick for Life).

This blog is aimed at keeping friends and family informed about this new trip, but also it is to serve as a tool to keep our team back in Oslo up to date with the progress of the trip and the project.

If you are new to this blog or are just keen in re-reading what happened (the story of builfing the LCCU) during my previous stay in Lesotho please visit my old blog: www.pck4a4a.blogspot.com

Work in progress...

Making the most of what we had

Great turn out!

40+ coaches and 60+ children showed up today for the community consultation sessions.

After last nights rush with the scissors, and running around Maseru (luckily all the places I had to go to were still there) trying to find the last bits and pieces we needed to replace the materials lost with Robin’s bag, we were set to go ahead with the sessions.

They were both light touch events, aimed at trying to understand how the centre might be used and what will be the most important facilities.

Even without the fancy stickers and posters these sessions went really well, I guess we made the most out of the gear/kit we had and now all the results are tagged and bagged, ready to be interpreted and help us inform our future proposal.
